Drawing and painting has always been close to my heart, right from
childhood. However, in the hustle-bustle of daily life this passion of mine
took a back seat. I never put pencil and color to paper seriously, until I met
Veeresh Sir, my Dear art teacher, in 2005.
Veeresh Sir took me under his guidance and taught me art on a one- to- one
basis. That was 20 years ago, when I was 54 years old.
Thanks to Veereesh Sir I started spending quality time in drawing and
painting. He took me through the lessons in baby steps, always encouraging
with positive feed-back. He insisted on earmarking quality time for daily
practice. Since then I am enjoying drawing and painting and have gifted my
work to relatives and friends.
What can I say of Veeresh Sir? A humble, soft spoken, down-to-earth human
being, for whom art is life. He established the “SHYVIKA CHITHRA SHALA”,
in 2014 and has trained many students (young and old). I have personally
recommended my contacts to him and all are happy training under him.
I strongly recommend anyone interested in learning art, to train under
Veeresh Sir.
